Media Production Assistant
The Media Production Assistant is responsible for scheduling volunteers, assisting with editing video and digital content, creating graphics, assisting with social media, overseeing media setup for Sunday services, performing AV tasks during Sunday services, and helping build a robust online campus.
The Media Production Assistant shall report directly to the Director of Technology and Media.
40 hours per week – 1-4 hours on Sunday morning to assist and implement media and technology; the remainder workload for the week is determined by weekly needs. It is understood the nature of working with volunteers requires the presence of this position in the evening hours as needed. Other exceptions would include special events and seasons requiring the presence of this position on Friday, Saturday and Holidays as needed. Salary exempt employee.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
Assist the Director of Technology and Media with contacting and scheduling volunteers as needed for Sunday morning worship venues
Input into Planning Center Online
Prepare media and computers in the worship center and the auditorium for Sunday morning worship
Download monthly backgrounds from Church Motion Graphics and other resources in coordination with the Administrative Assistant to the Pastors and the Director of Technology and Media
Assist with leadership in worship services
Assist with social media
Perform AV tasks during Sunday services
Assist with creating digital content, including creating and setting up vignettes, sets, and environments to enhance visual production
Assist with shooting weekly videos/photos
Help build a robust online campus
Assist with editing video and digital content
Assist with AV needs for Life Groups, church meetings, and events
A committed Christian called to the ministry of media/technology leadership and training
A life and belief system practicing and exemplifying Christian values according to the Holy Scriptures and embraced by Woodlawn Church
Ability to organize and manage volunteers
Experience in photography and/or videography, preferably in a live setting
The ability to use common office software along with knowledge of both PC and Mac technology--including, but not limited to: Planning Center Online; Pro Presenter and other media display software; Microsoft Office, Video and Graphic editing software (Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, Davinci Resolve, etc)
Ongoing on-the-job training available. Additional courses may be provided at no cost.

Salary: Up to $40,000.00 per year
