Worship Leader, Wintergreen Ledges Church of God

 

We're looking for a faithful follower of Jesus, who is musically gifted and is called to use that gift in leading others in passionate worship. This role entails leading our congregation in worship each Sunday morning and also working in partnership with the Lead Pastor to accomplish our mission and vision as a church. We are committed to developing generations of mature followers of Jesus through biblical teaching, passionate worship, genuine fellowship, and intentional outreach. Details

Position Type- Paid Staff
Reports to the Lead Pastor
Time Requirements- 3-5 hrs per week, including Sunday morning service, special services, and practice

Duties

Oversee, organize, and lead a Christ-honoring worship service in our weekly Sunday morning service
Collaborate with the Lead Pastor to select songs that work in conjunction with the weekly message
Organize, practice, and lead in worship, including leading worship volunteers
Support and contribute to the mission and vision of the church
Preferred, but not required: play musical instruments in the weekly worship service
