The student pastor at Westside is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, coordinating and evaluating the Middle School & High School discipleship ministry under the leadership and supervision of the Pastor. As such, his main duties include developing, implementing, coordinating, promoting, leading & evaluating a year-round program of discipleship, ministry, missions & activity for high school and middle school students. He would enlist, train, schedule and coordinate volunteers/workers for the Wednesday night midweek worship service and the Sunday morning Bible Study for middle school & high school students. In the midweek service, he would take the lead role in the Bible teaching/preaching ministry of that midweek service. The student pastor would also organize, coordinate, promote, lead & evaluate the camps, trips, events and other related activities for middle school & high school students and assist the Pastor in preparing the student ministry budget and operate within the budget as adopted by the church. The student pastor at Westside would also be given Sunday morning preaching opportunities and responsibilities.
