We look forward to the pastor providing spiritual leadership, creating a meaningful and transformational worship experiences.  Sermons should bring Scripture to life, connecting biblical interpretation to modern times, grounded in Reformed theology, and emphasizing the practical application of faith in daily living.  The pastor will administer the sacraments and perform traditional pastoral functions (e.g., weddings, funerals, baptisms).  Our pastor will minister with compassion and empathy to those facing illness, grief, loneliness, or other life challenges, supporting all who consider this church their spiritual home.  The pastor will strengthen the church’s educational ministries by working with teachers, leading educational events, and offering a weekly children’s sermon.  Collaboration with the music director will ensure rich, uplifting services that reflect the congregation’s diverse musical gifts.  An effective communicator, the pastor will work closely with the Session, staff, and volunteers to guide the daily operations and will actively participate in the Missouri Union Presbytery (MUP).  Trinity has long supported MUP’s mission, maintaining the highest per capita giving and strong leadership participation.  The pastor will help plan, evaluate, and shape the church’s present and future ministries.
