Pastor of Worship

We are a joyful, grace driven, reformed, Intergenerational family oriented Anglican community that believes in the participation and active service of every member.  We believe our primary mission field is the children and next generation of the church, and we work to equip the parents to raise up their children in the faith.
We are searching for our next Worship Pastor who will be responsible to support the church through planning and leading worship at all church services. We want a worship pastor who will lead us to find our highest joy and satisfaction in God—Father, Son and Spirit, to the end that we would know, love, serve and obey him in all that we do and our lives become a sacrifice of worship to him. Secondly, this individual will support the life and ministry of the church by supporting church communications.

Worship Ministry:
With a heart for worship-led spiritual formation, this individual will lead corporate musical worship for the church each week and for all special services.
Collaborate with the lead pastor to plan musical selection for all worship services, ensuring the service aligns with the theology, mission and values of the church.
Provide Pastoral care to the worship team members: Encourage musicians in their talents and abilities, encouraging spiritual growth and personal development, proactively look to raise up worship leaders and encourage leadership within others.
Recruit, schedule, train and communicate with a diverse group of volunteers to assist with the running of Sunday mornings, including Musicians and A/V team members.
Responsible to grow and develop a strong Theology of worship within the Worship team.
Weekly lead musical rehearsal before services.
Responsible to oversee all Audio-Visual components, including recruiting and training the A/V Team and maintaining the AV equipment.

The Ideal Candidate:
Education & Experience
·      Bachelor’s degree in Music, Theology, Bible, Religion, worship arts or related degree.  Advanced degree a plus
·      3-5 years of experience leading worship ministry

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
·      Possess a strong understanding of Anglican worship, Familiar with the BCP
·      Excellent musical skills: specializing in voice, Piano and/or guitar
·      Ordained Anglican Deacon/ Minister or the willingness to work towards this certification is preferred.
·      Experience with Google Suites, Planning Center, Adobe, Photoshop inDesign and Youtube is highly preferred
·      Experience with Communications and church administration are a plus.

·      Commitment to the vision, mission, values, and culture of Trinity Anglican, including a desire to train up and disciple the next generation. Candidate must be willing to proactively encourage spiritual formation through worship and within the church.
Ability to ascribe to authority of the Anglican diocese of the Rockies and its precepts as stated on https://rockymountainanglican.org
·      Possess a heart for the spiritual formation for the congregation and mindfully plan worship with an eye towards the use of music in discipleship.
·      Team player that thrives within imperfection.
·      Self starter with the ability to translate big picture ideas into actionable items.
·      Strong organizational and leadership skills.
·      Candidates should have a pastoral heart and be willing to engage pastorally with the worship team and the larger church as needed
·      Candidate must be able to hold the tension well between being “people first”  inclusion within the worship ministry and with an eye towards growth and excellence both musically and theologically.
·      Ability/ love for Writing liturgical or children’s songs a plus.
Salary: between 65-80k per year. Benefits include Health insurance, retirement and PTO.
