The Big Picture

The Protestant Community at Cedar Crest is seeking a recently retired ordained minister of a mainstream Protestant denomination who can perform within a flexible 30 hour week. The Protestant Community is part of Cedar Crest Village, Inc., a continuing care retirement community in Pompton Plains, NJ.

 

 

Part-Time Position

Flexible 30 hour a week position

Meets the sacramental and worship needs of our Protestant Community

-Through regular Sunday Service leading/preaching

-Through regular Bible Study and educational opportunities

-Through visitation to members when necessary

Appropriate for recently retired clergy

 

 

Requirements:

College degree

Ordained Protestant Minister in a major denomination

Comfortable with an interdenominational ministry setting

Appreciates and respects a mature population

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

 

 

The Compensation

Salary: $50,000 range
