Lead Church Planter at The Nineveh Network
Longmont, CO 80501
About the job
The former Christ Congregational Church of Longmont, CO was a historic “cow-town” that has seen incredible growth. In the past 20 years, the population of Longmont has increased by 50%, now growing by more than 100 people a month. It has become the largest city (100,000) in the county and an affordable alternative to Boulder, CO.
Like Christ Congregational Church, the number of churches in this time has decreased by 25%. We are looking for a planting pastor with a vision for a new church from the facility and legacy of the old, by engaging and reaching the community. This is a new work that will not include a remnant from the former church. The new pastor will work hand in hand with The Nineveh Network of the Conservative Congregational Christian Conference to develop a plan.
