About Us: Sunlight Psychological Services is a boutique private practice in the foothills of Agoura Hills, in Northwest Los Angeles County. We are a family-focused practice, devoted to the idea that emotional health begins in childhood. We specialize in therapy services for children, teens, young adults, and parents. About the Position: Clinicians are expected to see 20-25 clinical hours per week (individual therapy, family therapy, and psychological testing). The following additional opportunities may be available if a clinician is interested and has the appropriate background: group therapy, community education/talks, or piloting a program or service that you are passionate about. The office is also equipped with PCIT equipment which may be utilized if a candidate has the appropriate training. All hours worked will be paid, whether at an admin rate or clinical rate.

Requirements:

·       PsyD or PhD in Psychology from an APA-accredited program.

·       APA-accredited internship in child/adolescent/family focused track and/or Post-Doc in child/adolescent/family focused track

·       Training and supervised experience working with children, teens, and families.

·       Available to see 20-25 clinical hours per week and 2-4 hours of paid consults and team meetings

·       Proficiency in pediatric psychological assessment

·       Available to work in-person in Agoura Hills 3+ days per week.

·       CA Psychologist license in good standing

·       Value cultural humility and respect for every type of diversity and identity

 

Desired Qualifications (Not Requirements):

·       Training or certification in PCIT, PC-CARE, TF-CBT, or SPACE treatment protocols

·       Fluent in a second language, especially Spanish, Hebrew, or Hindi.

·       ADOS-trained

 

Compensation:

·       $70-100 per clinical hour, depending on experience

·       $25 per admin/training hour paid for all meetings and 1 prep hour per 5 clinical hours

·       Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance available to Full Time staff (20 clinical hours). SPS pays 50% of employee premiums.
