Executive Personal Assistant – Pomona, CA

The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience as an executive/personal assistant. Have a strong work ethic, exceptional problem-solving skills and is comfortable working in a fact paced, high energy environment.  Must be experienced with time and daily management, of meetings, correspondence, and note-taking, answering phone calls, scheduling meetings, emailing, texts, etc. Is resourceful and self-efficient, able to use technology and online platforms. Proficient in Microsoft office, Word, and Excel. Good written and verbal communication skills; Excellent organizational and follow-up skills; strong attention to detail. Can utilize office equipment such as fax machines, copiers, and phone systems; able to use computers for spreadsheet, word processing and database management and other applications.

In business and/or personal contexts, the assistant will provide services that relieve the CEO from the stress of tasks that are associated with managing his personal and/or business life. You will deal with a variety of life management tasks, including running errands, arranging travel (e.g., travel agent services such as purchasing airline tickets, reserving hotel rooms and rental cars, and arranging activities, as well as handling more localized services such as recommending a different route to work based on road or travel conditions), finance (paying bills, buying items, and shopping (meal planning, remembering special occasions or important dates).

You are often the CEO’s first point of contact with both inside and outside the organization, meaning that your tasks and skills can often be divided into two fields: technical skills, and personal skills.

The ideal candidate will be a top notch individual with a marketing/development personality along with incredible attention to detail. Dependable and high sense of urgency is highly preferred.

This person will be faith based since this individual will be working in the faith based environment.

  • Assist with Lassie House Events
  • Assist with The Village
  • Assist with Setting up Boxing Matches & Promotion for awareness & fundraising for Harriet Tubman Restoration
  • Get to know the owner of Spectra and anticipate his needs from business and personal level.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years' experience working in Personal Assistant capacity
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Power Point presentation (Advanced to Expert)
  • Must be able to type 65 to 85 wpm
