I own a townhouse at Allen Avenue/Colorado Blvd. in Pasadena that is rented out to tenants.  I live out of the country and require a local manager.  I purchased this place when I was a student at Fuller.

Current tenant is very low maintenance and a professor at a local college, but occasionally things come up that require a personal visit.

Good side job for a student (or spouse) with a flexible schedule who can use some extra cash.  For the past 15 years, we have paid a set monthly fee to the manager.  Some months will require nothing, but occasionally a month will be busy.  Offering $75 a month, but negotiable if responsibilities change.  We have found that usually the manager comes out ahead as most months require nothing.  We can provide contact info of current manager to confirm this.

Responsibilities:

* first month: repairs are required in the kitchen, need assistance in overseeing these repairs.  I was recently in town and took care of several repairs myself.

* assisting tenant in the event of an emergency (i.e. flooding, locked out) or facilitating a repair.

* Communicating with me (owner) regarding the needs of the condo/tenant.

* if tenant moves out (no plans as of now), interviewing and screening possible tenants.

 

COVID Vaccinations and masks required, as tenant requires them for anyone to enter the townhouse.  Tenant is vaccinated and works from home.
