Pastor or Director at Rose Hill Church (ECO Presbyterian)
Kirkland, WA 98033

Job Profile Summary: Primarily, the person in this role will provide vision and leadership for Youth Ministry and modern music for the Sunday Worship service. Specifics of each part of the job are outlined below. This person will work with the Head Pastor and other staff to lead us in living into our vision. We are looking for an outgoing self-starter who can work in a team environment who not only loves Jesus, youth, and worship, but also is fully on board with our church’s vision to “lead people toward Jesus where we live, work, and play.” There is a tremendous opportunity in this position to impact not only the lives of youth and our worshipping life together as a congregation, but to impact the culture and direction of our church, as well.

About Rose Hill Church and our community: RHC is a small to mid-sized, multi-generational church in Kirkland, WA. We are part of a growing denomination called, “A Covenant Order of Evangelical Presbyterians”, and tend to go by “ECO Presbyterian” or just “ECO,” in shorthand. For more info about ECO, please see: www.eco- pres.org. As stated above, we seek to “lead people toward Jesus where we live, work, and play.” That starts by being led toward Jesus and growing in our discipleship to him, and inviting/discipling others as well, in all facets of life. Church membership is close to 200, and worship attendance on Sundays is 120 in person and another 30 or so online. Kirkland’s downtown is on the shores of Lake Washington, 15 minutes from downtown Seattle, and 30 minutes from the foothills of the Cascade Mountains. (Think: California beach town, but with fresh water and more grey clouds...and snow-skiing 50 minutes away.) Our growing region is highly influenced by the tech sector (Microsoft, Amazon, Google, etc.), and as such there is a high quality of life with first-rate amenities. We have some of the strongest public schools in the nation, and we (Kirkland and our church) have become more and more culturally diverse, with some 40 languages spoken in the homes within just a mile radius of the church.
