Responsibilities:
- Design print pieces such as handouts, brochures, booklets, and event promotional pieces.

- Design digital graphics for sermon series, event promotion, web pages, announcement slides, social media assets, and more.

- Brainstorm and ideate for large projects, events, and ministry-wide processes.

- Visually demonstrate ideas for larger projects to Director (sketches, moodboards).

- Develop messaging elements for print, video, radio, and web to communicate, educate and inform about church vision, ministries, and events.

- Help manage social media to promote the mission of Redeemer Church and its ministries to congregation and public, monitoring accounts across all platforms as needed.

- Set up / Tear down video equipment when necessary.

- Assist in filming when necessary.

- Edit video using PremierePro and/or Davinci Resolve.

- Create indoor and outdoor event signage graphics.

- Assist in setting up and tearing down large events as needed.

Skills:
- Strong communication skills to effectively present ideas and collaborate with clients or team members

- A growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

- Agreement with the mission, vision, and doctrines of Redeemer Church.

- Member (or willing to become one) of Redeemer Church.

- Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design or related field, or equivalent experience.

- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator.

- Basic knowledge of: Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro.

- Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout design principles

- Proficient knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube).

- Experience in website edits and back-end functionality (content management systems) a plus.

- Basic knowledge of communication and email platforms (MailChimp, Outlook, etc.) a plus.

- Ensure visual brand consistency across platforms and mediums, including web, print, merchandising, video, and digital media.

- Ability to prioritize projects to meet deadlines.

- Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage time effectively.

- Proficient written communication skills.

- Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills.

- Knowledge of marketing theories and/or trends a plus.

- Familiarity with video editing software and ability to create engaging motion graphics.

- Video filming experience a plus.

- Familiarity with project management software (Microsoft Teams and Asana) a plus.

- Ability to function as a critical thinker on the job.

- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team

- Strong communication skills to effectively present ideas and collaborate with clients or team members

- Willingness to take direction from Creative Director.

- Demonstrated teachability in the workplace.

- Willingness to perform non design-related job functions as needed (for example, preparation for church events).

- Ability to keep sensitive information confident.

- Must be willing to complete a criminal background check.
