Job Overview: This is a full-time position. The role of the Worship Pastor is to provide pastoral leadership by overseeing and coordinating all the details required for meaningful corporate worship in music and song in support of the Lead Pastor’s vision for the service.

Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Coordinate with the Lead Pastor to ensure that all the musical and technical aspects of the service are aiding the church to worship in spirit and truth.
2. Lead and supervise the Tech Production Director.
3. Provide both technical and spiritual guidance to the vocalists and instrumentalists through regular worship rehearsals.
4. Recruit and train, as necessary, vocalists and instrumentalists in technique and ministry.
5. Schedule worship ministry volunteers for all worship services.
6. Inventory musical, and production equipment and ensure that all is in good working condition.
7. Prepare and manage the Worship Ministry annual budget.
8. Attend regular staff meetings.
9. Available for ministry opportunities apart from regular scheduled duties. (examples: weddings, funerals, etc.)
10.Maintain regular office hours during the week to be available to church and community members.
11. Prepare all media presentations for Sunday morning. (worship lyrics, sermon points, verses, slides, videos, etc.)
12.Provide additional media production assistance to the church.
13.Potentially coordinate, train, and lead youth band for youth ministry nights.
14.Communicate and coordinate with Buildings and Grounds for any maintenance and safety concerns regarding all physical or environmental issues in the campus environment he/she operates.
15.Any other duties as assigned by the Lead Pastor.

Qualifications:
1. Spiritually, growing Christian with a commensurate lifestyle.
2. Be musically gifted and talented in at least one musical instrument and be able to provide level leadership to the band and vocalists.
3. Strong vocalizing and singing capability.
4. Knowledge and ability to teach others in the area of sound and media.
