Worship Director
A new church plant in Palos Verdes is seeking a worship leader for its launch. The church is seeking a humble, passionate, Christ centered leader that can either play guitar or lead by piano. $15 per hour. We are very flexible and willing to work around schedules. We currently host 4 worship nights per year and would like worship to be a pillar of our church. Responsibilities:
- Lead worship on Sundays (9:30-12:30)
- Practice with the team once per month
- Develop the worship team by instructing them and stewarding new talent.
- Engage in church life (Weekly Community Group and worship nights.)
- Meet once per month with the pastor and leadership team

 

Job Qualifications
- A passion for & calling to worship ministry
- A gifting for leading the congregation while playing guitar and/or keys
- A strong singing talent
- A passion for serving others
- A dedicated prayer life
- Willingness to submit to pastoral-elder oversight
- Must live within a 30-40 minute drive
- Education / a degree is beneficial, but not required where gifting & calling are evident.
- Experience: always a plus; but we are willing (if not eager) to look at someone who is fresh to ministry and has a lot of energy, vision, expectation of the Lord, and humility
