Queens Herald Church is part of the Christian and Missionary Alliance denomination. We are a multi-generation Chinese American Church located in Fresh Meadows, New York. We have Cantonese, Mandarin, and English congregations. We are looking for a Youth Ministry Intern who will be mentored and coached by our Youth Pastor. Our goal is to help our interns grow in their understanding of their identity in Christ, ministerial calling, as well as coaching them to develop the various skills necessary to navigate through all things youth ministry related. There is a stipend available for this learning experience. Interns can expect to be invested in and challenged towards personal, spiritual, and ministerial development.

Responsibilities:
• Attend and participate in staff meetings with Youth Pastor
• Attend and participate in youth ministry related meetings such as leader training sessions, leader debriefing sessions, and youth fellowship programs.
• Prepare, teach, and lead some youth fellowship sessions (under the guidance of the Youth Pastor)
• Meet weekly with Youth Pastor for briefings, trainings, mentorship, and coaching.
• Build and cultivate relationships with students and youth ministry teams.
• Assist with administrative tasks for youth ministry related items.
