Executive Pastor - Quarry Community Church

The Executive Pastor is a key leadership role at Quarry Church, responsible for providing strategic guidance, operational oversight, and pastoral support. This position requires exceptional organizational, managerial, and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong commitment to the organization's mission and core values. The Executive Pastor works closely with the senior leadership team and serves as a bridge between the pastoral staff, congregation, and administrative functions.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Leadership:
Collaborate with the senior leadership team to develop and execute the organization's vision, goals, and strategies.
Provide leadership and guidance to various ministry departments, ensuring alignment with the overall mission and objectives.
Evaluate and improve existing programs and initiatives to enhance effectiveness and impact.
Identify emerging ministry trends and opportunities, proposing innovative strategies for growth and outreach.
Operational Oversight:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the organization, ensuring efficient and effective functioning.
Develop and implement administrative policies and procedures to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
Manage financial resources, budgeting, and financial reporting, in collaboration with the finance team.
Supervise staff members and provide mentorship, support, and training to enhance their professional development.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Pastoral Support and Care:
Provide spiritual guidance, counseling, and pastoral care to staff members, congregation, and community members.
Collaborate with the senior pastor and pastoral team in planning and leading worship services, special events, and regular programming elements.
Oversee the development and implementation of discipleship programs, small groups, and outreach initiatives.
Foster a culture of inclusivity, care, and community within the organization.
Relationship Building and Communication:
Cultivate positive relationships with church members, community leaders, and stakeholders.
Represent the organization at public events, conferences, and meetings.
Facilitate effective communication between the pastoral staff, leadership team, and congregation.
Collaborate with external partners and organizations to expand the organization's reach and impact.
Requirements:

A strong commitment to Christian faith and values, and the ability to articulate and integrate them into organizational leadership.
Bachelor's degree in theology, divinity, business administration, or a related field (a master's degree is preferred).
Proven experience in leadership and management roles within faith-based and corporate settings.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse individuals and groups.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
Financial acumen and experience in budgeting and financial management.
Proficient in using technology and software for administrative tasks.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
High integrity, humility, and a servant leadership mindset.
