The Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling degree is a two-year, on-campus/in-person program that leads to both LMFT and LPCC licensure in California. Our faculty have varied clinical and educational backgrounds and we prioritize the personal and professional development of each student we serve. We share in a relational, "high touch" community that invests deeply in our students and trains them to be competent clinicians and thriving, healthy individuals.

This appointment is for an Administrative Faculty position, titled Director of Clinical Training, beginning August 2023. Main responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of clinical training in the Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling program, both at the on-site clinic and student placements within the community. The DCT guides and supervises students during the first practicum experience that occurs on campus at the Center for Enriching Relationships (CER) and collaborates with CER to manage and oversee the pre-practicum program. The DCT manages all external agency partnerships and helps students find clinical placements. The DCT also teaches graduate courses and oversees the curriculum of the practicum course sequence. Academic rank, compensation levels, and eligibility for the Tenure track will be based on degrees earned and related experience.
