The Outreach Community Counseling Center – Carol Stream, IL
The Counseling Center provides individual, couples, family, and group therapy for a full range of concerns including family conflict, depression, anxiety, trauma and loss. The center also provides psychological testing for ADHD, autism, learning disabilities, and other emotional and behavioral concerns across the lifespan. The Counseling Center is a training site for Masters and Doctoral level interns from various graduate schools.
The Psychologist will maintain a part-time caseload comprised of individual, family and group therapy cases including follow-up coordination and linkage with other services and supports; establish and collect fees for services and insurance billing; maintain client records; supervise doctoral psychology students for psychological testing and/or therapy cases; provide psychological testing and clinical training as requested; participate in Assessment and Consultation Team and counseling staffings. This position reports to the Psychologist/ Assessment Clinic Director.
A passion for the mission and vision of OCM. Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology or School Psychology; 5 or more years of counseling and testing experience; professional, current licensure required. Advanced skills in clinical testing, psychological testing, and counseling; strong communication ability; sensitivity to the needs of a low-income, culturally diverse population. A commitment to OCM’s Statement of Mission and Faith. Previous staff/intern supervision experience preferred.
Part-time at 24 hours per week. Tuesday and Thursday 9am-5:30pm, Wednesday 10:30am-7pm. Some scheduling flexibility.
Hourly rate for this position falls between $37.50 and $39.42 (FTE $78,000-$82,000) based on skills and experience.
