This position will provide in-home and in-office adoption–related; trauma-informed therapy to families and children in the adoption process, with the goal of achieving/maintaining permanence and stability.
Qualified candidates must meet the following requirements:
- A Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in one of the following: social work; social welfare; marriage, family and child counseling; child psychology; child development; counseling psychology; social psychology; clinical psychology; educational psychology; or education with emphasis on counseling.
- Currently have or willing to obtain an Associate or Intern status with the Board of Behavioral Sciences.
- At least two (2) years adoption experience, including, but not limited to, an awareness of the developmental process of adoption and training in adoption therapy strategies and techniques including the Seven Core Issues of Adoption.
