Responsibilities:
1. Worship Leadership:
- Lead worship services with excellence, guiding the congregation in genuine and heartfelt worship experiences.
- Plan and coordinate worship services in collaboration with the pastoral team, ensuring alignment with the church's vision and values.
- Oversee the worship team, including vocalists and musicians, and conduct regular rehearsals to foster unity and musical excellence.
- Demonstrate a passion and commitment to recruiting, developing and discipling musicians to grow our worship team
2. Media Management:
- Manage the church's social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube, to effectively engage the congregation and wider community.
- Create and curate engaging and gospel-centered content, including graphics, videos, devotionals, and event promotions, to promote church activities and encourage spiritual growth.
- Develop and execute social media strategies to reach and connect with different demographics effectively.
3. Website and Mobile App Management:
- Oversee the church's website and mobile app, ensuring they are up-to-date with accurate information, sermon recordings, event details, and other relevant content.
- Collaborate with ministry leaders to maintain separate web pages for various ministries within the church, ensuring clear communication and easy access to resources.
4. Creative Content Development:
- Produce high-quality multimedia content for worship services, social media, and the website, including videos, graphics, and photography.
- Develop creative elements for worship services and online platforms, integrating multimedia and technology to enhance worship experiences.
5. Communication and Coordination:
- Collaborate with the pastoral team and ministry leaders to effectively communicate church events, announcements, and initiatives through various digital channels.
- Coordinate with the church staff to ensure consistent branding and messaging across all digital platforms.
6. Analytical Insights:
- Monitor and analyze social media and website analytics to assess engagement, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions for improved communication strategies.
7. Volunteer Management:
- Recruit, train, and lead volunteers to assist with media-related tasks, ensuring a spirit of excellence and efficiency in all media efforts.
Qualifications:
- A strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a passion for gospel-centered worship.
- Proven experience and proficiency in leading worship in a church setting.
- Demonstrated ability to manage social media platforms and create engaging digital content.
- Familiarity with website management and content creation tools.
- Technical skills in multimedia production and editing (e.g., graphic design, video editing).
- Strong organizational and time management skills to juggle multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an attention to detail.
- A creative and innovative mindset with a heart for effectively communicating the gospel message.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with gospel-centered evangelical theology and worship practices is preferred.
