NJGMC is seeking a full-time associate pastor with a heart for shepherding, discipling, and mobilizing the EM to develop and mature as a community of believers-- under the leadership of the senior pastor. The associate pastor loves God and loves people, is one who is gifted and is called to church ministry to fulfill spiritual needs of the congregation. The associate pastor must understand how to relate to the various unique sub-groups in our ministry: from college students to the 20’s-50’s demographic (i.e., singles to families), our EM desires a pastor who is able to integrate these groups to build up a gospel-centered and missional ministry. The pastor lives out the Great Commission by sharing the gospel boldly evidenced in family, in the church through one-on-one relationships, and in the community. The associate pastor, together with the senior pastor and lay-leaders of our ministry and within the context of the mission and values of NJGMC, will be responsible for developing a comprehensive strategy to carry out this purpose. It is expected that this person will meet the qualifications set forth in 1 Timothy 3:2-7 and Titus 1:7-9. Our ideal candidate is fluent in English with some Korean proficiency and is seeking a long-term commitment to serve together in our ministry.
