The Senior Pastor will serve as Head of Staff, with responsibility to Marietta Community Church (MCC), its Leadership Team, and the broader Marietta and Cobb County community. As the senior member of the staff, the Senior Pastor will be responsible to exercise pastoral as well as administrative leadership to the church.

The successful candidate will be a committed follower of Christ, an engaging, inspiring, visionary leader with a demonstrated ability to mobilize believers to advance the Kingdom of God.

Qualifications:

- Deep Biblical knowledge with the ability and desire to effectively communicate the Gospel and its application in everyday life
- Passion for Christ and His people
- Demonstrated leadership building innovative ministries that grow the Kingdom of God
- Proven ability to lead and motivate others (staff and congregation) to follow and advance God’s vision for the Church
- Passionate about advancing the mission of MCC to be: “An Intergenerational Community Connecting People to Jesus Christ”
- Reformed theological alignment and adherence with the ECO Essential Tenets and polity
- Ordained in or able to be ordained in ECO
- Master of Divinity or equivalent from an accredited theological seminary
