Position Summary:

- Part Time, salaried position with average of 25 hours per week with potential to be full time with additional administrative/marketing responsibilities

- Inviting, nurturing, and empowering children birth to fifth grade, and their families into growing relationships with Jesus and the church community

Personal Qualifications:

- A personal faith and growing relationship in Jesus Christ modeled in all areas of life

- Servant leader with a passion for discipling children and their families

- Ability to inspire, recruit and equip talented team members from the congregation

- Energetic, loving and engaging personality

Professional Qualifications:

- Christian Education degree or experience in related field preferred

- Ability to use current social media platforms and other relevant technology

- Team player

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Develop, coordinate and implement all programs relating to the children (i.e., education, mission, recreation)

- Effectively communicate and promote the activities and needs of the children’s program to staff, church leaders, families and congregation

- Continually evaluate and enhance the Children’s Ministry curriculum

- Attend relevant professional development opportunities

- Review and maintain children’s ministry budget

- Attend weekly staff meetings and children’s ministry team meetings
