Long Island Abundant Life Church is a non-denominational immigrant church that upholds the reformed theology. We are in Hicksville, a multiethnic community in NY, and have Chinese and English congregations of approximately 200 predominantly Chinese attendees. We are seeking an Associate Pastor or Pastor of English Ministries. Responsibilities include all aspects of leading and shepherding the English-speaking congregation of about 50. More than half of the English congregation consists of youths.

The applicant should understand and possess the following:
1. Be a person of integrity possessing the qualities as outlined in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:6-9.
2. Gifted in servant-leadership, preaching, teaching, evangelism, and discipleship.
3. Desire and strive to minister to all age groups: adults, youth, and families, and promote intergenerational integration.
4. A Spirit-led heart for community outreach.
5. Ability to work with the Board and the pastoral staff to minister to the whole church body as a single entity.

7. A completed Master of Divinity or near completion from an accredited seminary. An applicant with a North American education / experience is preferred.
