About the job
Prepare and deliver sermons to the congregation every Sunday for up to two services.
Oversee the planning and leading of worship services and special events.
Expound the Word of God in a manner that reflects Reformed, Evangelical, Presbyterian, and Missional identity.
Preach/teach God's truth in relevant and applicable messages to a multi-generational and multi-ethnic congregation.
Administer the sacraments of Baptism and the Lord's supper.
Pastoral care functions
Maintain visitation program including home/hospital visit.
Officiate at weddings and funerals.
Provide pastoral counseling to a multi-generational and multi-ethnic congregation.
Build and cultivate Christ-centered relationships with the congregation and fellowships.
Plan, oversee, and lead outreach program.
Plan and lead new member classes/catechism.
Identify, equip, and mentor new church/fellowship leaders and staff.
Plan, oversee, and lead discipleship program.
Shepperd the congregation toward a deeper faith in Jesus Christ.
Moderate session/leaders and congregational meetings.
Plan and oversee resources and financial operations in collaboration with session.
Interface with the Presbytery and General Assembly.
Provide directional and visionary leadership for the ministry of the church.
Maintain a courteous and Christ-like attitude.
Participate in church life's social aspects, including holidays, potlucks, and other activities.
Master of Divinity degree minimum.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Be EPC ordained or willing to be ordained by the EPC.

Experience and appreciation for multi-generational and multi-ethnic
Exhibits Christian character in all parts of life and continuously seeks to grow in the Lord and discern His will.
Preferred 5+ years' experience preaching, leading, pastoring church/congregation in an English-speaking setting preferred; spoken Indonesian an advantage.
