Email Marketing Data Coordinator & Analyst at Jews for Jesus

The mission of Jews for Jesus is “to relentlessly pursue God’s plan for the salvation of the Jewish people". The Email Marketing Data Coordinator & Analyst is a role for technical and analytical support for the Communications Department who will oversee our gathering and storage of contact lists and segmentations to ensure that we are following legal requirements (e.g. GDPR) and industry best practices. The Communications Department needs to carefully oversee who we’re communicating with and how our messaging strategies are being implemented. So, we need someone with great skills in logical problem solving and communication and a background in digital marketing or contact management who can help us organize and perfect our digital communications with our diverse audiences (In other words: the Marie Kondo of digital contact management.)

  • Manage, enhance, and analyze data infrastructure and marketing platforms aligned to donor and audience acquisition strategies
  • Manage J4J contact lists in our ESP (Campaign Monitor)
  • Oversee email contact lists in our CRM (BBEC)
  • Improve and automate data processes
  • Design and develop tools, techniques, metrics, and dashboards for insights and data visualization
  • Create, improve, and/or monitor new contact funnels (e.g. website subscription forms or importing spreadsheets of new contacts gathered at live events)
  • Establish and evangelize data quality standards and maintain data governance in partnership with IT Department
  • Guide our IT department’s work in creating and improving integrations between our ESP and CRM and other systems
  • Help our Communications department develop communications strategies to follow best practices and stay on the leading edge of contact engagement approaches—especially as it concerns growing new contact lists
  • Help monitor the contact-list-management work of our donor development agency


  • Best practices in marketing data analysis and contact management
  • A very strong mind for logical problem solving
  • An intuitive understanding of communication
  • An understanding of Christian ministry
  • B.S. Degree in Computer Science or communications
  • Experience working with CRMs and/or ESPs (e.g. BBEC and Campaign Monitor)
  • Experience in mass email communications
  • Data analysis and reporting
  • Excellent communication and organization skills, plus high attention to detail
  • The ability to keep track of multiple audiences and sub-audiences with specific backgrounds, communication styles, and sensitivities
  • Extremely reliable and proactive in all work
  • The ability to work both independently and within a team environment—primarily doing remote work/work-from-home

  • Someone who can track contacts seamlessly between Campaign Monitor, BBEC, iDonate, and all of our contact funnels
  • Someone who can build and monitor our contact forms and other funnels
  • Someone who is able to interpret complex data and present it in an easy-to-understand way for reporting to higher-ups
  • And most vitally, someone who can serve as a bridge between IT and Communications to greatly improve our collaboration and provide quality control for both department.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
