JESUP BIBLE FELLOWSHIP
Jesup Bible Fellowship is seeking a pastor who will lead us to further develop a culture of putting Jesus first, being Holy Spirit led, having joyous worship, building authentic relationships, and growing in bold outreach.

PASTORAL RESPONSIBILITIES
·        Preaching/Teaching
·        Plan and conduct weekly services
·        Prepare sermons fully grounded in the truth of God’s Word, which inspire, educate, and challenge
·        Be willing to teach in small group settings
·        Additional services - weddings, baptisms, funerals, child dedications, etc.
·        Leadership
·        Work with leaders to discern God’s vision for the church
·        Inspire and instruct people to participate in that vision
·        Enlist, train, mentor, and guide believers for the work of Christ
·        Participator in church life
·        Relational/shepherding
·        Developing authentic relationships with the attenders at JBF
·        Organizing visits to those who are ill, in need, new to the church, etc.
·        Biblical counseling
·        Outreach - lead JBF to reach the lost and unchurched for Christ whether locally or to far nations
·        Administrative duties
·        Be involved in the business aspects of church
·        Organize, attend and/or facilitate meetings, events, and brainstorming sessions
·        Delegate or direct staff and volunteers to accomplish task
·        Respectful responsiveness - timely, kind, and accurate responses both verbally and via email/text

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
·        Educational preference: Masters-level or higher degree from a respected seminary
·        Experience: At least 2-5 years in a pastoral role

COMPENSATION PACKAGE
·        Full-time salaried position
·        Paid twice a month
·        Exempt compensation allowances
·        Moving expenses
