PURPOSE

Provide leadership for Women at IBC including casting vision, developing and executing ministry strategy and caring for and shepherding women.

QUALIFICATIONS

»   College degree and seminary training

»   3+ years of church or parachurch ministry experience

»   A growing and transforming personal relationship with Jesus Christ

»   Passionate about serving women and seeing them grow in Christ

»   Excellent written and verbal communication skills

»   Excellent computer skills and Microsoft Office proficiency

»   Detail-oriented and organized

»   Ability to cast vision and lead change despite challenges

»   Ability to motivate, lead, and develop others

»   Ability to teach and speak in front of audience

CONTINUING RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide pastoral leadership, shepherding, and counseling to Women at IBC

Ability to study the Scriptures and teach the Bible with passion and clarity

Serve as ministry champion

Lead, develop, and equip staff team members

Oversee spring, summer, and fall Bible study besides setting teaching calendar and selecting curriculum (oversee leader recruiting, training, and coaching; set weekly schedule; teach; etc.)

Lead Women’s Lead Team (set agenda and leadership development strategy, lead meetings, develop leaders, set vision and agenda for annual retreat)

Create annual budget, ministry plan, and communication plan

Emcee events and serve as the pastoral representative for IBC to women in attendance

Select speakers and entertainment for all events with input from team and provide event oversight

Intentional pursuit and inclusivity of every woman (ethnicity, age, socioeconomic status, life stage, etc.)
