Insight Carolinas is looking to hire an LPA, psychology postdoc, or licensed psychologist for full-time, part-time, or 1099 contract work in psychological assessment. Our practice exclusively does targeted psychological assessment of children and adults. The company is based in Charlotte, North Carolina but provides services in other parts of the state as well. We have a partnership with a statewide ABA group and have opportunities to visit their clinics in Wilmington, Asheville, and the Research Triangle area. We plan to expand to South Carolina in the next 5 years. The position is hybrid with in-person testing days and the option of working from home for writing days. Pay is competitive and performance-based bonuses are available. Benefits are also available to part-time and full-time employees. Currently the company consists of two licensed psychologists, 3 psychometrists, an intake coordinator, and an office manager/insurance specialist. We treat our employees well and value their input as essential members of the team.

For the clinical assessment side of our business, our most common referrals are for autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, mood disorders, and behavioral problems. As part of our calling to expand access to needed services, we are paneled with many private insurance companies and Medicaid payors. We also accept sliding scale private pay clients. A portion of our business is also non-clinical where we provide IQ assessments for school admission, psychoeducational assessment, tutoring optimization, career exploration, etc.

Ideally a candidate would have experience with autism and ADHD testing. Some degree of assessment experience is essential, but we are also happy to train a candidate who is conscientious and willing to learn. Bilingual English-Spanish is a huge plus but not required. We can help guide an interested candidate through the LP or LPA process for North Carolina if they are LPA eligible but don’t yet have it, as at minimum an LPA is necessary for services to be billable.
