Inner Balance Counseling provides a supportive, growth-oriented environment, flexible schedules, and an opportunity for hands-on experience, supervision, and training from experienced clinicians. We are seeking full-time therapists to join our team and help us continue to serve our community.

Providers at Inner Balance Counseling specialize in treatment for Complex Trauma, Dissociation, LGBTQIA+ Affirming therapy, Gender affirming evaluations, Anxiety Disorders, Mood Disorders, OCD, Self-harm, Substance Abuse and Codependency/love addiction. We utilize treatment methods such as, but not limited to EMDR, DBT, Structural Dissociation and Strength-Based Approaches.

Location:

Mesa: 1234 S Power Rd Suite 252 Mesa, AZ 85206 (2 positions open)

Tempe: 1414 W. Broadway Road, Suite 122 Tempe, Arizona 85282 (1 position open)

Compensation & Benefits:

Health, vision and dental insurance through BCBS
EMDR basic training paid in full
Contract-based employment (1099) position with room for growth
$41-90/hr based on experience and licensure (per direct client/billable hour)
$1000 credit towards training every year
Flexible schedule and caseload (half in office and half online)
Supervision hours for independent licensing

Consultation towards becoming an EMDRIA approved Consultant

Requirements:

Good standing with Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners and current holding of non-independent licensure (LAC), application pending, temporary license or_ ability to apply for a license in new grad_
Willingness to take EMDR basic (paid for in full by IBC)
Build up to a minimum of 23 client hours per week as well as the additional time needed for case management, consultation & record keeping
Willingness to work one evening (till 6pm and/or 7pm one night a week)
Willingness to comply with documentation protocol necessary for best practice
DSM-5-TR diagnostic competency
Competency with documenting “medical necessity” in progress notes and treatment plans
Completion of notes and other required documentation within 24 hours of completion of session
Possess some knowledge of assessment and crisis intervention and community resources
Pass background check, drug screen, and active Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
Equipment: Must have a smartphone, computer access, and be comfortable with technology.
Must provide own private practice liability insurance
Or if lacking in the above skills an enthusiasm for learning

Pay: $41.00 - $90.00 per hour
