Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dependable Part-time Worship Leader to lead our congregation in meaningful, Christ-centered worship. This role plays a key part in creating an engaging Sunday experience that welcomes young families while serving the broader church community. The Worship Leader will collaborate closely with church leadership and volunteers to foster a worship culture that is authentic, excellent, and inviting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead worship during Sunday services (vocals and instrument—ideally, guitar)

• Plan and prepare weekly worship sets aligned with sermon themes

• Lead rehearsals and provide musical direction

• Partner with service support and tech teams for smooth execution

• Help create a welcoming worship environment for all ages, including families with children

• Support special services/holidays, and events as needed

Qualifications

• Strong musical ability (vocals & instrument required)

• Experience leading worship in a church or ministry setting

• Ability to lead and encourage volunteers of varying skill levels

• Organized, prepared, and reliable

• Comfortable collaborating with church leadership and staff

• Heart for worship, community, and the church’s mission
