The Youth Pastor (YP) will oversee the Children’s and Youth ministry strategy of Immanuel Baptist Church (IBC) under the direction of the Senior Pastor, and in participation with it’s leadership teams in our mutual commitment to Jesus Christ and to achieve our shared vision:
Helping people to find and to follow Jesus, and helping others to do the same at work, at home, and at play.
We're seeking someone who feels called to be "all in" to "go all out" to reach the youth in our medium-sized community of about 50,000 that continues to rapidly grow. The candidate will have a college degree who's preferably either in completion of a seminary degree or has an M.Div. or similar youth ministry training, or someone who has youth ministry/outreach experience and is dedicated to further developing those skills and knowledge.
