Internship Description

Be part of our season of growth at Grace Long Beach. Our pastors and church leadership will engage with you through intentional mentorship, helping bring you into contact with your ministry area of interest.  The program offers exploration, learning, and practical experience in a supportive and experiential cohort environment. Interns will see behind the scenes—planning, leading, learning and discerning—with an expected commitment of 10-15 hours per week. This is an opportunity to discover how to follow Jesus in a changing world, and to receive practical tools to bring the transformative power of the Gospel to all of life.

We will actively consider students majoring in a wide variety of disciplines (e.g. Christian Ministry, Music/Worship, Social Work, Philosophy, Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Communications/Marketing and Film).

**All interns will receive a $2000 tuition scholarship. Must be enrolled in an accredited university. (Undergrad and Graduate students)

Basic Requirements for All Applicants

• Enrolled in an accredited university or college program (undergrad or graduate) or recent graduate
• Available a minimum 10-15 hours a week
• Able to commit to nine-month program beginning in September
• Agree with the church’s vision and values and attend Grace Long Beach
• Embrace a high biblical standard of personal conduct and lifestyle
• Previous volunteer experience in a local church or ministry preferred.

**Applications are accepted February 1, 2024 - July 15, 2024.
