Are you a faithful follower of Jesus and passionate about children’s ministry? We have an amazing ministry opportunity for you! We are searching for a GLC Kids Pastor who will oversee the ministry to all children, from birth through 8th grade. They are responsible for the implementation of GLC Kids that inspires the love of God to take root in each child and grow into a lifelong journey of faith. The GLC Kids Ministry Director will lead a growing team of volunteer leaders, partner with families from a diverse community, and collaborate with a staff team that is excited to support them.
Church Description: Grace Life Church is seeking an energetic leader who will pursue the church's mission to reach as many people as possible by creatively revealing the love of the Father through the life of the Son in the power of the Holy Spirit. Our church is located in Catonsville, Maryland. Our church has been historically affiliated with the Baptist-SBC network, but we operate independently and serve our local community with a heart for God's Kingdom. We are passionate about holistic missions, community outreach, and reaching the next generation.
Ministry Specific Responsibilities:
Cast the vision for a vibrant Children’s Ministry that will allow kids to experience God in a relevant and relational way. Help us make the Gospel not only heard, but seen and felt.
Develop a dynamic leadership team of volunteers by providing resources and training, and by implementing appreciation strategies.
Oversee weekly programs and environments for GLC Kids that are age aware, mission minded, and engaging.
Implement and evaluate strategies to ensure children are known, loved well, and safe. This includes check-in tools and procedures, attendance tracking, first time guest follow up, and safety policies for leaders and GLC Kids spaces.

College degree or experience in related fields preferred
