Description of our Community
We are an English-speaking evangelical international church located in Hong Kong, launched in 2012, consisting of two congregations (East TST and Olympian City). We are looking for an assistant pastor for our congregation at East TST, consisting of about 80 people.

We are a Gospel-centered community. We believe the good news of the Lord Jesus Christ to be the true center of the life and mission of the church.

 

Ministry Focus
- connecting people to God in worship
- connecting people to one another in community
- connecting people to the needs of the city
- connecting people to their vocational lives as followers of Jesus Christ

 

Primary Responsibilities
- assist the lead pastor (as part of leadership team)
- oversee worship ministry
- occasional preaching and teaching
- assist with pastoral care
- support other church initiatives

 

Qualifications
- born-again, evangelical Christian
- subscription to the GCC Statement of Beliefs.
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) from accredited seminary or Bible college
- proficiency in English (Cantonese and Mandarin proficiency a plus)
- prior experience serving in Christian ministry and leadership
- good worship leading skills a plus
- good communication skills
- good relational skills
- good team player
