The Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd held its first worship services in suburban Sacramento 74 years ago. Today, Good Shepherd Church is a thriving multi-generation congregation of over 500 people. Good Shepherd's Senior Pastor will be retiring in December 2026. The Senior Pastor we seek is a Pastor devoted to the will and glory of God, a Spirit-filled, Jesus-centric visionary who enjoys a deep prayer life and a leader who is very people and community oriented. We pray for a seasoned pastor who is anointed by the Holy Spirit to move people's hearts and who will partner with the Holy Spirit to transform lives.
