First Pres Church of Wheaton seeks an Associate Pastor that will advance the mission of First Pres by equipping and supporting the staff and leaders of our church. The Associate Pastor will help coordinate the work and responsibilities of the church’s committees and staff. This Associate Pastor will also assist the Senior pastor in planning, leading and developing ways for the vision of First Pres to be realized. The Associate Pastor will supervise the program staff and their ministry areas: Children's Ministry and Director of Youth Ministry, coordinate with the Board of Deacons and care teams, and oversee adult ministries: Adult education; women’s and men’s ministry.  The Associate Pastor will also champion volunteer teams, resource the Mission Committee, and oversee the process of helping people engage in our discipleship path.  Additionally, the Associate Pastor will provide pastoral care in consultation with the Senior Pastor and participate weekly in worship and special services.

Our church follows the State of Illinois mandates regarding the wearing of masks and cleaning our facility.
