Multi-generational church seeking a worship arts pastor to lead with vibrant creativity that is Spirit-led and sincere. First Baptist Church of Vancleave is located on the beautiful MS gulf coast and averages 500 in worship. Our worship arts ministry has committed volunteer talent that comprise our worship choir and orchestra. These ministries are highly regarded by the church family. We are looking for a minister who is capable of leading choirs, worship bands, and orchestra. With increasing need for service broadcasting across social media and video platforms, we seek an individual who can oversee the online and in-house sound production. FBCV is made up of people who have strong family values, many of whom have been in the church family for generations. The area is expanding with young families, while also remaining home to empty-nesters and retirees. Our local school district is one of the best in the state and has a cooperative relationship with our church and church leadership. Our highest priority is to have a worship arts ministry that engages the entire church family, from children to our most senior adults. We pray to have a person leading this ministry who views worship arts as a God-appointed avenue to lead the body of Christ in corporate worship using the divine language of music as the vehicle for praise and adoration of the Lord.
