About the job
About Faith Church
Faith Community Church is situated in Seminole, FL, the Tampa Bay area, Pinellas County, which is Florida’s most densely populated county. Our neighbor to the north is Clearwater, the spiritual headquarters of the Church of Scientology. Our neighbor to the south is St. Petersburg, which consistently ranks among the top cities for the LGBTQIA community. Our area is characterized by density, diversity, and great opportunity. Faith Church is a member of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church (EPC). We are a gospel-centered, Reformed, missional, and complementarian community. The EPC Essentials and the Westminster Confession of Faith are our standards of doctrine; the former preserving our commitment to historic evangelicalism, and the latter preserving our commitment to the historic orthodoxy of the Reformed Faith. We are a ministry of 300-500 people, with a 7-acre campus located just 2 miles from the beach, and an annual budget of approximately $750,000.

Preaching/Teaching: Teach God’s Word regularly, in a variety of settings; preach God’s Word and administer the sacraments occasionally. The Assistant Pastor will serve as the backup or on-deck preacher, preaching in corporate worship approximately 8 to 12 times per year.
Campus-Facility Management: Co-oversee (with the Lead Pastor) the Faith Church campus, including the scheduling of all routine maintenance, special projects, and community events.
Ministry Assistance: Assist the Lead Pastor with various ministry tasks, as needed.
