Founded in 1946 as Canton Christian Tabernacle, Faith Community Church is a conservative, non-denominational, Bible believing, evangelical church in Canton, OH. Our Senior Pastor of 15 years has decided God is calling him to move on to his next step in life. While we appreciate all he has done and wish him the best in his next adventure, this does leave us in need of a new Head Pastor in the near future.

Desired qualities of Head Pastor: Bachelor’s degree or higher in the appropriate area of study; Sound theological knowledge; willing to be engaged with all ministries (at least partially); captivating yet concise speaker; can provide clear direction on where they would like to lead the church; relates well with people of any age, race and gender; willing to attend and fraternize with people during outreach and inreach events; leads through love; calmly stands firm when needed and provides thorough explanation why; listens well; can counsel people or guide them to qualified counselors; skilled in and/or willing to embrace advancing technology to aid worship.

Salary and benefits are negotiable commensurate with experience.
