Position Summary:

This position directs a group of leaders  within the worship ministry of Expressions Church.  They will oversee worship for Sunday services (and/or events), and will develop others to do the  same. They will be responsible for team recruitment and spiritually pouring into the worship team.

Reports to:  Lead Pastor

• Can oversee multiple complex systems, ministries/teams simultaneously

• Ability to effectively use various methods & tools in mass communication
• Experience in coaching people toward spiritual growth
• Ability to plan and execute necessary events, meetings, and strategies
• Completes requirements for membership at Expressions upon accepting the position.

Responsibilities:

During the week

• Manage the worship team schedule in Planning Center (PCO)
• Meeting(s) with lead pastor/staff to gain clarity and communicate needs
• Plan the order of service and set list in accordance with the lead pastor
• Assure music and charts are accurate in Planning Center (PCO)
• Send communication out to worship team with call times, set list and resources
• Prepare the music tracks for services via Multitracks
• Communicate any needs with the production director/team
• Schedule production team
• Ensure the preparation of the file for propresenter (PCO)
• Recruit new team members; including auditions for potential team members
• Develop & Disciple team members
• Research new songs and present creative ideas for services

Sundays

• Lead rehearsals and music direct - able to read charts and communicate theory
• Spiritually lead the worship team - lead devotion and prayer time
• Operate as the service producer - lead the worship/production pre-service huddle
• Understand creative people and be an e?ective bridge to the production team

Proposed Compensation
$2200/month with an increase based on review
