Church Background
Emmanuel English Church (EEC) is an international evangelical church located in the To Kwa Wan area in Kowloon, Hong Kong. The congregation is made up of English-speaking Asians who have studied or lived outside of Hong Kong, expatriate workers from North America and Europe, Cantonese- and Mandarin-speaking Chinese, and asylum seekers from Africa and Southeast Asia.

EEC was founded in 1929 and, together with 5 other church plants around Hong Kong, form the broader Emmanuel Church. Together, the 6 Emmanuel churches are located across Kowloon and the New Territories and serve the city through two Primary schools and a medical clinic.
