We are seeking a part-time (up to 20 hours per week in office) Graphic Design & Digital Media Assistant to strengthen our digital media efforts. This individual will be responsible for creating graphic content that effectively describes and promotes the vision of the church and its programs, as well as updating and maintaining our website and social media accounts.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Website Maintenance
  • Update/Add/Remove WP Webpages/Events on https://www.erockchurch.com
• Phone App Maintenance
  • Add/Update/Remove sermon series, events, pages/resources
  • Create Push Notifications
• Graphic Design
  • Create graphics for various events/campaigns/sermon series
  • Print, on-screen, and web graphics
  • Print materials for special mailings (letters/envelopes)
  • Create Eblast templates (Using Constant Contact)
• Social Media Management
  • Schedule/monitor daily FB, IG, Twitter, YouTube posts that are aimed to either encourage followers in their faith, to brighten their day, to encourage loving Christian response, or simply to foster community engagement
  • Create Events

REQUIREMENTS

• Working knowledge of design software such as Adobe Creative Suite/ Creative Cloud, In Design, and/or Corel Draw
• Ability to provide creative input as well as take creative direction and constructive feedback
• Portfolio submitted with application
• Maturity of character, cultural sensitivity, compassion, discernment and confidentiality
• A genuinely warm, caring and patient attitude
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organizational skills with the ability to comfortably multi-task
• Ability, focus and discipline to work with minimal direct supervision
• Understanding of the Christian work environment
