Content Creator (Video) at Dream Center

Responsibilities for the Content Creator (Video) include creating digital and video content while assisting in organizing campaigns, participating in brainstorming sessions and developing creative solutions. This position will be a critical component for the success of the Marketing team and the attainment of its goals, as well as for the long-term growth of the company. We are looking for someone who is passionate for the mission and can work collaboratively with the team to contribute purposeful creative and strategic ideas to accomplish our goals. Applicants with experience working with creative and/or marketing teams and working cross-collaboratively between departments will be given prime consideration. A sense of humor, humility, flexibility, and proactive mindset are essential for this position.


  • Be responsible for all content creation with a focus on filming and video editing that includes coordination, production, and execution of stories through video for marketing purposes like campaigns, promotions, announcements, events, advertising, and more
  • Work within our style and brand guidelines for graphics and videos across multiple different platforms (website, social media, marketing platforms, etc.)
  • Maintain, create, and curate content for YouTube
  • Work in collaboration with the team to ideate and contribute creative concepts for a variety of content across multiple platforms
  • Elevate brand awareness and trust by crafting and executing unique and compliant promotional strategies via all digital platforms, including and social media, web, advertising, email, and more
  • Help manage and maintain social, promotional, and marketing calendars
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that activities are being executed consistently across medium and through brand initiatives
  • Create motion graphics as appropriate for videos
  • Ensure organizational communications and messaging across all channels are in alignment with our mission and brand
  • Support in graphic design and photography in a supportive role in collaboration with the team
  • Update, maintain and organize assets, information, files, and etc.
  • Communicate with our audience(s), respond to queries, and monitor platforms in collaboration with the team while building trusting relationships both online and in-person
  • Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities


  • BA/BS in marketing, advertising, or related field
  • 1-3 years of professional content creation experience, preferably at a faith-based organization or non-profit, or from an entertainment/PR/marketing agency/in-house marketing department
  • Understanding of best design/creative practices with experience in creative/content production
  • Experience developing and executing multi-channel digital video content including social media, email, and website campaigns
  • Good working knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, LinkedIn and more)
  • Expert knowledge in video and video editing, including the usage of Adobe software especially in Premiere and After Effects (experience with Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Lightroom is a plus)
  • Experience in motion graphics is a plus
  • Experience in graphic design is a plus
    Internal communications and project management software like AirTable and Slack
  • Experience with Google Suite and Microsoft applications
  • Basic experience in copy and creative writing, especially for social and marketing messaging


  • Must be able to lift and carry 25-50lbs on a daily basis
  • Requires bending and/or twisting
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Expected to attend monthly staff meetings hosted by the Dream Center leadership team
  • This role will be based in Los Angeles.
