We are currently seeking a sharp Content Creator with professional experience creating content for digital/social media marketing, growth strategies across multiple platforms to support the Marketing team in its primary duties. Responsibilities include creating digital content (photographic, graphic, and video) while assisting in organizing campaigns participating in brainstorming sessions and developing successful marketing strategies. This position will be a critical component for the success of the Marketing team and the attainment of its goals, as well as for the long-term growth of the company. This position requires quick turn-around with thoroughly thinking. Contributes purposeful creative and strategic ideas and be able to communicate them clearly. Applicants with experience working with creative and/or marketing teams and working cross-collaboratively between departments will be given prime consideration. A sense of humor, quick-learner, humility, flexibility, takes initiative and a self-starter mindset are essential for this position.

The Content Creator will:

  • Be responsible for all content creation with a focus on graphic design, video, video editing, and photography in collaboration with the team
  • Coordinate, compose, execute and process all of our programs participants stories, and products
  • Work within our style and brand guidelines for graphics and videos across multiple different platforms (website, social media, marketing platforms, etc.)
  • Work in collaboration with the team to ideate and contribute creative concepts for a variety of content across multiple platforms
  • Produce marketing materials and publications (brochures, impact reports, flyers, etc) to support any needs in announcements, promotions, events and more
  • Elevate brand awareness and trust by crafting and executing unique and compliant promotional strategies via all digital platforms, including and social media, web, advertising, email, and more
  • Help manage and maintain social, promotional, and marketing calendars
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that activities are being executed consistently across medium and through brand initiatives
  • Ensure organizational communications and messaging across all channels are in alignment with our mission and brand
  • Update, maintain and organize assets, information, files, and etc.
  • Communicate with followers, respond to queries, and monitor platforms in collaboration with the team while building trusting relationships both online and in-person
  • Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities

Ideal candidates will have:
Experience Requirements:

  • BA/BS in marketing, advertising, or related field
  • 1-3 years of professional content creation experience, preferably at a faith-based organization or non-profit, or from an entertainment/PR/marketing agency/in-house marketing department
  • Understanding of best design/creative practices with experience in creative/content production
  • Experience developing and executing multi-channel digital content including social media, email, and website campaigns
  • Good working knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, LinkedIn and more)
  • Expert Adobe creative suite skills (Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Lightroom)
  • Good working knowledge of video and video editing, with experience in photography (experience with Adobe Premiere and After Effects)
  • Experience with digital marketing and website development including but not limited to UX/UI, AB Testing, & SEO is a plus
  • Experience with email marketing platforms, and familiarity and understanding of web development and front-end/back-end principles is a plus
  • Experience with internal communications and project management software like AirTable and Slack
  • Experience with Google Suite and Microsoft applications
  • Basic experience in copy and creative writing, especially for social and marketing messaging
