General Description:  The Reality Check Manager serves as a sexual integrity educator, spokesperson, and positive role model in schools and organizations throughout the community, pursuing and nurturing new and existing school and community partnerships. The Reality Check Manager promotes the clinical services of Claris Health to students, parents, faculty and staff throughout Los Angeles. In addition to outreach and education on behalf of Claris Health clinics, the Reality Check Manager trains, equips, mobilizes, and oversees all Reality Check staff, interns, and volunteers, as well as all Reality Check Licensees. The Reality Check Manager implements and oversees updates to the Reality Check Curriculum, Training Manual, Websites, and Social Media Channels.

  • Possess the ability to provide leadership and support to staff members and volunteers.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, particularly the ability to work successfully with groups and organizations, both internal and external to the corporation.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in order to plan, direct, and coordinate activities of the program.  Able to communicate effectively with multiple audiences using a variety of formats.
  • Hold at least a Bachelor’s Degree in related field or relevant work experience in management, non-profit, and/or public speaking.
  • Preferably have previous experience working with youth or with a sexual health program.
  • Possess strong organizational skills and the ability to write and manage curriculum, oversee staff and implement various administrative duties.
