About the job
We are looking for a pastor with a M. Div. degree to lead a Cantonese speaking and English speaking (bilingual) congregation. This pastor will lead this congregation in the areas of teaching, evangelism, discipleship, serving in different capacities. He will faithfully feed the congregation with the word of God. He needs to be fully aligned with and supportive of the Baptist Faith and Message 2000. He will be a leader that oversees different ministries. He will mobilize, equip & train the congregation to serve in different ministries. He needs to be a spiritual role model for the congregation and a good communicator. He needs to plan and execute the vision and mission of the church with the elders. He needs to care for the bilingual congregation with the help of deacons. He needs to know how to strengthen interrelationship within the congregation as well as reach out to the unsaved.
