Meet Breakaway Ministries:

Breakaway is one of the largest on-campus Bible studies in the nation. Breakaway exists to help any and every college student take either their first or next step with Jesus Christ. Every week, anywhere from 1500-7000 college students gather in an athletic venue on the campus of Texas A&M University to study God’s Word and worship through singing. Breakaway is made possible by 7 full-time staff members and approximately 300 student volunteers.

There is nothing quite like seeing college students passionately follow Jesus. With Texas A&M University, Blinn College, and RELLIS having a combined total of approximately 80,000 college students, the need and the opportunity have never been greater. Not only does Breakaway have the opportunity to introduce the next generation to Jesus but every week Breakaway gets to inspire and equip students to walk with Jesus for a lifetime. For over 30 years, God has been doing a unique work through Breakaway. Countless students have trusted Christ, gained traction in their faith, found healing, connected to a local church, and been called to full time ministry.
