Children and Youth Ministry Director - Brandts Church

Brandts Church, a member of the Covenant Brethren Church denomination, is seeking a full time Children and Youth Ministry Director (CYMD). Brandts Church is located in South Central Pennsylvania. We are searching for an individual to build young disciples for Christ.  Candidates do not necessarily need to be licensed or ordained pastors, although we are open to pursuing licensure or ordination.  Candidates should have some type of formal training and/or experience in the area of children or youth ministries  The successful candidate is expected to meet the qualifications found in 1Timothy 3:1-3 and Titus 1:6-9.
The CYMD will oversee a comprehensive approach to ministry for Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade.  The primary focus of the CYMD will be in the area of youth ministry (grades 6-12), including planning, organizing and implementing age-appropriate Bible instruction and activities for youth.  The secondary focus of the CYMD will include the general oversight of the AWANA program, VBS program, and our children's church program, King's Kids.  The CYMD will work with the current children's ministry staff (Pre-K - 5th grade) as a resource for encouragement, ministry ideas, and administrative organization.

The CYMD must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with staff members, families, and students and also be well organized.  We are looking for an individual who has a heart on fire for the Lord personally and who desires to evangelize, nurture, and disciple children and youth.

Compensation will be determined by the Leadership Team based on experience and/or accreditation.
