Middle School Ministries Objectives (75%)

·      Disciple Middle School Students and engage with their families

·      Develop, implement, and oversee all programming for Middle School Students

·      Prepare, inspire and equip all Middle School volunteers to disciple students

 

Young Adult Ministries Objectives (25%)

·      Disciple Young Adults

·      Work with Community Life Pastor to develop life groups and programming for Young Adults

·      Oversee the coordination of all life groups and programming for Young Adults

·      Prepare, inspire, and equip all Young Adult volunteers to lead Young Adult Life Groups. As well as create a plan to follow up with leaders to encourage continued engagement.

Middle School

·      Serve as the primary pastor to the Beachpoint middle school students and parents

·      Develop goals with measurable outcomes for Middle School Ministry with the Executive Pastor

·      Work with the Family Ministry Team to create alignment across all the Family Ministry ministries

·      Inspire, equip and empower parents to be present in the spiritual lives of their students

·      Train, inspire, equip and empower all volunteers by implementing Leadership Pipeline

·      Develop all middle school curriculum

·      Oversee all aspects of Middle School events

·      Utilize Planning Center for all services and events

·      Run all Middle School Ministry social media (Instagram, Facebook, etc.)

·      Develop a vision and strategy for Middle Schoolers to engage in weekend services

·      Teach in Middle School Ministry regularly while developing others to teach as well

 

Young Adults

·      Serve as the primary pastor to the Beachpoint Young Adults

·      Develop goals with measurable outcomes for Young Adults with the Community Life Pastor and Executive Pastor

·      Train, inspire, equip and empower all volunteers by implementing Leadership Pipeline

·      Develop any Young Adult curriculum

·      Oversee all aspects of Young Adult events, hangouts, and connections

·      Utilize Planning Center for all services and events

·      Develop a vision and strategy for Young Adults to engage in weekend services

 

All Pastoral Staff

·      Teach in the main service, conduct weddings, funerals, and baptisms upon request

·      Assist in the duties of hosting corporate worship services

·      Attend all scheduled staff meetings

·      Remain current in related fields of ministry

 

Supervisory Responsibilities

·      Directly leads and supervises volunteers for Middle School and Young Adults

 

Physical Demands

Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time

 

Education Requirement

Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or minimum of five years’ experience leading in a similar context
